error "illegal division by zero" chunk 37.

P: 1
I have a perl script that throws an error "illegal division by zero" chunk 37.

FYI, this script was the one that worked fine two days back. There is no change
in the script.

Can anyone tell me, what could be the reason...and what is that chunk 37 telling about?

FYI, Whenever you have a divide by 0 error, simply go through your entire script looking for places that you "divide". Then add an if statement to verify that the denominator is actually a non-zero value.

This will help you at least determine where the error is occuring, and then you have a chance to determine what assumptiong concerning the data is incorrect and needs to be taken into account.
