Machine hardware interrogation for XP

Hello all,

I'm very new to Pearl, infact I've only really edited other peoples work to use on my own systems.

I've started a new job and need to find out how much memory each of XP machines. I'd also like it to give me the machine make and model too, then dump it in a .txt file for me.

Any ideas at all as to how I might go about this? Oh, I have all the host names!

Thank you.
