disable popup's while opening Excel from perl

P: 1
hi ,

I am opening a excel sheet from perl but every time i run the program i get a pop up message saying that "This Workbook contains links to other sources"
" - To update all linked information , Click yes."
" - To kepp the existing information, click no."
and asks me to choose "yes" or "no". i want to disable this pop up. i have tried setting the displayalerts to false but still this message is popping up. Actually i have macros addded to this excel file.

so either i want know how to disable this popup screen or i want to know how to add addins to the excel sheet from perl programatically
