HELP ON CGI (Perl 5.8.8)

I need a CGI interpreter installed in my computer so I can use "Mailto.pl" with my home Server (NetworkActv) so, I downloaded Perl 5.8.8, but I don't Know how to intall it. I Know I have to go to DOS. (I'm an old DOS user) and got to it but nothing make sense to me. My knowleadge with CGI is 4 (from 1to10).
CAN SOME ONE HELP-ME to install it.

If you have not resolved your issue then here a some links that should help you. If you are on the Windows Platform then look at using Strawberry Perl or ActiveState Perl. Otherwise check out perlfaq-2
