Embedded perl and licences

Hi

I am researching a new commercial project, and would like to incorporate
scripting, I use perl a lot and it is my language of choice for a script
(see next post)

BUT I seem to be having trouble getting a clear idea on licencing issues
I dont want to learn how to embed perl and discover that I need to provide
the entire perl library with my distro, or worse be forced to open my
source code up.

I have done a fair bit of searching and the licence terms all relate to
"the package" but I will only be using a custom interpreter Dll (yes win)
and perhaps a very small subset of "the package"

I dont want to hide that I am using perl, full credit where it is due!

can someone please advise or at least point me to some information on
licencing.
