Well, considering this is a learning forum and not a script writing service, I am obligated to ask you what you have tried thus far.

Please post your code that you have tried, in the necessary code tags, and we will help guide you from there.

Regards,

Jeff

When you set the VB.NET splitter to the color in which you are specifying as transparent on the form then it's stops working. Not sure why, you'd think the program would know where it is even if it's not visible on the screen. However I'm developing an app with a transparent form so even a 1 pixel width splitter looks like crap. Does anyone have a work around for this? Any other components out there that do support transparencies? ...

In .NET 1.1 you placed a single spliter control on a form and it stayed where it was unless moved. in .NET 2.0 if you put a spliter container with a vertical splitter, and say assign the splitter distance to 170, then resize the form horizontally the splitter moves also! I don't want it to do this, I want the splitter to only ever change sizes when the user moves it, not relative to the form size. How do I go about doing this in .NET 2.0...

Hello. I have put 3 components on the form : Panel . dock property is left (left panel). Spliter. dock property is left. Panel. dock property is fill (right panel). I see that the spliter has some width, and all the elements on the right panel, are invisible when they are neer the left edge of the right panel (the splitter component hides them).

Hello all. I'm not sure if this is the right part of the forum to ask, but I couldn't find any better place. I am trying to make a program that will take a file of any extension, and split it into several files, and then recompose these files into the original file. But for some reason, even though the copy file size appears correctly when the whole thing is done, I get an error when I open it. If it's an .exe i get an error and if its a picture...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
