array executes only first

touch.txt is:

touch a
touch b

The following code produces the file "a" but not "b".

$data_file="tou ch.txt";
open(cmd, $data_file) || die("Could not open file!");
@raw_data=<cmd> ;
foreach $line (@raw_data)
exec $line;

Thank you,

I have a web form "Page1.asp" and it reads data from a database, does some calculations, and displays the records in pages. Works fine. I have a button that displays on the page, defined as <input type="button" onClick="OutputData()"> The OutputData() function is a javascript function that simply does this: window.location = "Page1.asp?Flag=1";

Hi, I'm attempting to understand the use of pointers(at least grasp how pointers work). I've read the FAQ on http://www.eskimo.com/~scs/C-faq/s6.html on pointers and arrays but I'm still a bit lost. I written the following code to try to understand it but it's not working:

I'm working on a program currently that requires me to read data from a .dat file into a 2d array and then print out the contents of the 2d array to the screen. I wil also need to append data to the .dat file but mostly right now I'm worrying about getting the info into the 2d array. My .dat file looks like this 1 20000 2 30000 3 40000

It's been a long time since I've posed a query here on c.l.c. My work environment evolved to primarily C++ and Perl with very little C, so I've forgotten quite a lot over time. This revisits the much-discussed topic of decrementing a pointer to the non-existent location before the start of an array. I've been re-reading K.N. King's ``C Programming: A Modern Approach'' and came across ``reverse2.c'' on page 228, which raised a red flag. I...

I have an array of objects (a hash table). My section of code, the "for in" loop (lines 18 to 41) does not execute at full speed. But if I put in an alert box (line 13) to stop program execution the the code executes when I click the Ok. I am writing an HTML table on the fly. First I delete the content of the table, then I repopulate the table with the new content. Below the following code I display how I create the arrays (which...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
