HTML reports

I've been required to generate a lot of pretty reports lately, and I've
been using tables in HTML to handle most of the work. I have a large
module to help me in this, and it tends to work OK. I'm curious if I
could have used Perl formats to generate most of this stuff in the
first place. I don't see much mention of HTML in the Camel Book, let
alone when discussing formats. Is there a way to output a format as an
HTML table? If so, is there a way to generate colored text, and do
some other effects?

Hi Folks, Beg pardon for this simplistic question (I've searched via Google but got lost with all the terminology). An application I have created dumps out some data in XML format to a file. I want the file to remain unchanged so that other applications can open it and read the data contained in there. But, if someone points a browser at the file I want the XML file to be

I have a web form where a client can select which site members to send an email to. This form is populated from the contents of the member table, so the form can have 0-x names listed on it depending on member expiration dates. When the form is submitted, the code loops through the form contents and sends an email to those members that meet the selected criteria. All this worked perfectly when I was sending text emails, but since I

Hi, I am here to request support from anyone that has idea's on cross-browser HTML (Mainly Firefox and IE). My personal website http://trammel.no-ip.info works fine on Firefox but IE decides to crush the left table (ingnoring that there is no breakable spaces). I tried using nowrap already and IE still forces a wrap of the text in the menu... thats why I tried using non-breaking spaces instead of normal ones... so there was nowhere to...

I currently use the MS-Access automatic report converter to throw some of my reports out as HTML. That works OK but often the report's layout is distorted and I would like to improve this. Ideally, I would like to output the reports as PDF, but my client has locked up the registry for users so I cannot do that (at least not with Adobe). Alternatively I could certainly program VBA to output formatted HTML reports where the content is...

Hi dears, I have a plain HTML page. I want to render it a little interactive. I was thinking to add to it 1 script and events to the elements I want to make interactive. Then, I need to talk with an ASP.NET page which would actually do some processing on the server. Processing may include a replace (regeneration) of the above HTML page, for further interaction.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
