How to import the dump file into oracle 9i

Hi, I tried to import the dump file into oracle 9i in the following way:

Import file:EXPDAT.DMP><dump file path>

Enter insert buffer size(min is 8192) 30720>

As soon as I press the enter, the command prompt gets exit.
Also I have created the user with dba permissions.
Please help me with the solution.

How about
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. imp <user>/<passwd>@<database_sid> file=<exp_filename> fromuser=<source_schema touser=<destination_schema>
  2.
or
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. imp <user>/<passwd>@<database_sid> file=<exp_filename> full=yes
  2.
