How can I monitor the execution result of a stored procedure at run time?

I have a procedure which works on a collection of employees (cursor), the procedure calculates for each employee:
- the number of absence days,
- the salary according to the absences,
- the taxes according to this salary,
- exchange the result into another currency.
then the procedure will insert the calculated values with another data into a table.

Now, I need a way that tell me about the processing status of the procedure during the run time because I need to create a status(progress)bar (by javascript) depending on the number of recordes that the procedure inserted into the table instantaneously.

Is there any way to do that??

may be someone help me??
THANKS
osman
