Hi,

This is Keane. I did the migration of my older version oracle forms to 10g by outsourcing the same to an Indian company called Code ONE Solutions based in Chennai.

They did a wonderful job by converting our older application to 10g version in a short time and most cost effective way without any changes to our business logic.
They are specialized in migration of

Oracle Forms Version 2.3 / 3.0 / 4.5 / 5.0 / 6.0 / 6i to Oracle Forms Version 6i / 9i / 10g.

Oracle Reports version 2.0 / 2.5 / 3.0 to Oracle Reports Version 9i / 10g.

Migration of other objects such as Menu / PLL / Pro*C to the latest version.

Multi language migration which includes Japanese, Arabic, Korean, Chinease among others.

You can find useful information by visiting their site http://www.code1solutions.com.

Hope your migrations work completes successfully.

Regards,

Keane.

Another way to do it is to purchase and automated tool like PITSS.CON (www.pitssamerica.com). This tool is cheaper then outsourcing, will let you know what was actually done to your application, and can be used afterwards on any other project you have going. In other words, it's an investment that keeps paying you back.

PITSS also handles the OLB, PLL, MMB, and RDF's (Yep Reports too). Any version 2.3, 3.0, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0, 6.0, 6i, 9i, and 10g Release 1 can be upgrade, migrated, or converted (you choose the term you like best) to 10g Release 2.
