oracle 10g installation

i am saffering from installtion of oracle 10g database from CD's
at the time errors are accur:
1: dynamic link and about user32.dll file
2: directory folder not write able

Please post exact error messages you get.

It would be better to post your question under Oracle category on bytes.com to get response from a Oracle expert.

When your write again, also state your Operating system version.

I'm not quite sure, if the Oracle or the Windows Forum would be the best choice for this question (assuming, that you're using some kind of Windows). I'll move this to the Oracle Forum for the time being, as the experts there can probably help you more than we can in the Windows Forum, but if the Oracle Mods should decide that it should be moved back here at some point, that's fine too.

1.What is your OS ?
2.What version of oracle 10g you are trying to install ?
3.In which step of installtion you are getting error ? (with exact error message)

Hi ,

Its due to processor variation
eg: instead of 32 bit u may install 64 bit
