Universal Installer 9i

Hi NG

I'm looking for the Universal Installer of 9i.
I don't want to download whole the 9i CD.

Where to find only the installer ?

Thanks
Peter

AFAIK, you can not download the Oracle Universal Installer (OUI)
separately.

Download any installable Oracle product and you get it. Look through
the 'downloads' section at OTN and pick a small product such as
JDeveloper. (At least it's smaller than the database <g>.)

Well.... it depends ;-)
OUI has been patched, and can be downloaded IF one has access to
Metalink. Still 77MB, but less than one CD (you only need the first)

And if you want to go back a bit - the Oracle Software Packager from OTN
download area includes OUI at 60MB.

I guess it depends on what he's trying to accomplish. (As usual <g>).

it looks like he is looking for the new oracle installer, that "fixed" a
problem to allow patched to be instlled after a certain date.

it is available on metalink.
