Re: Access violation on setup of Oracle8i Personal Edition


Hi Michael,

I'm also facing this kind of problem, the difference is, I'm using
Oracle 9i (on Win2K SP3) and its already installed on my system.

Now if I try to invoke Universal Installer from Program->Oracle
Installed Products, then the task manager shows 2 processes, setup.exe
and javaw.exe but Universal Installer UI doesn't appear.
