P: n/a

I have the same problem and have not been able to resolve it. I dont
have java installed because this is 9i R2 and it has its own java. I
had no problems with the install, which is also java based... why cant i
create a database with dbca???

I get the following out put in my teminal window

/home/oracle/product/9.2.0/bin/dbca: line 124: 12907 Killed
$JRE_DIR/bin/jre -DORACLE_HOME=$OH -DJDBC_PROTOCOL=thin -mx64m -
classpath $CLASSPATH oracle.sysman.assistants.dbca.Dbca $ARGUMENTS
