Identity Type in Oracle 10g

Hi,
Are there any ways to have Autonumber datatype in Oracle 10g table.?

It showing error like mismatch in paranthesis while giving identity type.
create table xxx(id number identity(1,1)) like this.

But it showing error.

How to include autonumber in Oracle.

There is no identity data type in oracle.
For autonumbers in Oracle try to make use of SEQUENCE .
