how to creating another user?

Hello Developers......

i am using Oracle 9i with a User name: SCOTT & Passwd:TIGER,

my question is how to create another user for that schema?

is it possible...?

No,that is not possible.

In oracle one schema refres to only one user.
You can ofcourse grant some previliges to other user on certain or all objects of the schema.

to create a new user separately login through the sys or system account and then create a new user or else ask your DBA to do the same and grant required previliges.

Hi,
please you login system/manager

username=system
password=manager

and then create a user and assige a some privilages according to your wishes..
suppose you have not knowledge about privilages.

select *
from dba_sys_privils;

this data dictionary contains information about privilages
