pl/sql block

Hi all..could u help to solve my problem?I want excute the following code based the choice given .....but when i give choice 1 it is asking the values for input of 'a' variable and it is not coming to the end instead it is asking the input for second choice....why is it so? Whats the errror in my code?

a rr.a1%type;
b rr.code%type;
choice number(2);
begin
choice:=&choice;
if choice=1 then
a:=&a;
insert into rr(a1) values(a);
elsif choice=2 then
b:=&b;
delete from rr where code=b;
else
dbms_output.put_line('Enter the correct choice');
end if;
end;

this is the pl/sql code u have written...

u worrying about why it is asking to enter a value for b: ,

becoz it is procedural language and it executes each and every step and here
it checks if choice =1,
and prompts u to enter a: value
afterward it do tht DML operation you specified..
it will never go to elsif as if condition is already satisfied......
so, it then go to next step that is
it prompts you for value b:
again no else
end if;


check the result your program already performed your DML operation on thta table you specified..
