Running Oracle Reports from a database table

Hello,

I would like to know if it is possible to run a report via command line where the report in question is stored as a BLOB column in a table. My environment is 10G backend however the front end is Java and Websphere portal. This is my first week on the job so I don't know the environment well. Getting the rdf into the BLOB is not problem however instead of writing the file back to the file system, I need to have it passed to the report server

Hope I was clear. Appreciate any help
