oracle10g data in ISO-8859-1

My Oracle 10g charset is ISO8859-1. The data is coming form html / jsp and others souces. Iam geeting in both iso-8859-1 and UTF-8 encoded data. I don't have any control on other sources and There are more than one data entry points.
I would like to know How database will behave in these stuations when various types of encoded data is coming in it.
