dropping FGAC package

got a nice security set up in my test schema. updated the
text to reference the next level up in the schema hierarchy.
installed through SQL*Plus as i always did with the test schema.

ran the drops (package, trigger, synonyn, context), as i always
did on test.

hmmm.

when i then try to access the table, i get a 28110 error,
XXX.ABC_PKG has error.

package doesn't exist, at least in the AQT display. can't find
28110 on this group, and (due to comp. policy) i'm not
allowed access to meta-link.

i re-run the script, and the package comes back and works as
before.

8.1.7/NT

anyone know how this might happen??

thanks,
robert

turns out that i had renamed the policy function, and run the drop
script After. dropping the package didn't remove the row from
SYS.DBA_POLICIES, no cascade. ran the drop policy script. all
is well.
