oracle on ultra5

P: n/a
I would like to install oracle9 database on a ultra 5(solaris9) 270Mhz
256MB ram. Will this machine meet the minimum requirements of
installing oracle.
Its purely for a learning process - so no heavy load will be put onto
it.
I would just like to create simple databases and learn some basic
admin stuff and learn some pl/sql.
I have managed to install sybase on it without any problems but just
wondered if oracle would encounter any difficulties.
also - where can i get a download of oracle for solaris9.
Thanks

Hello chudee,

You should be fine.

Check otn.oracle.com for binaries.
