Seeking Suggestions

Hi all,

If I am building a document management system; which is the better way to save a large number of documents ?
  • Use a blob and save files in the db itself
  • Save file on the a disk and track the path in the db table

Thanks in advance

If u know how to handle BLOB then go for the 1st option.

If u r sure that in future u r not going to change the file location then go for the second.other wise it will be very difficult to manage.
