oracle listener

I've just installed Oracle Standard on an XP Platform for demo. The listener
was not installed.

I have installed Oracle many times on 2000 server and never seen an case
where the listener was not installed.

How can I install the listener? It does not see to appear as an option to
install usising the installation tool.

Thanks

Jean

On my XP box, the installer has the listener listed in the Installed
Products section. The path you have to expand to get to it is: Oracle
Homes ==>> OraHome92 ==>> Oracle9i Database 9.2.0.1.0 ==>> Oracle9i
9.2.0.1.0 ==>> Oracle Net Listener 9.2.0.1.0. I don't think this is
Standard Edition software, but hopefully yours is in the same place. Any
chance you just missed it?

Good luck,
Chris
