Update record syntax

Hi All,

I want to update a field of table based on the conditions from some other table in Oracle,like if I have table A and a table B and have to update a flag of A for all the stores available in B,what I am supposed to do or what would be the querry

Hi,
You can use where clause in update .
syntax:

Update <table name> set <column name>=<value> where <condition>

You can check for the condition in where clause.
Try it out.

UPDATE A
SET column = value
WHERE store of A in (SELECT store FROM B);
