normalization concept with example

hello everybody ......can anybody help me understand normalization concept with examples taking 3-4 tables .....how to join them using primary and foreign keys...........its better if u can help using the library information.....i want to do a project on library administration so wat r the field required.....and how to normalize the data.......with tables ....thank u for spending time for reading my mail.........

For good examples , you can refer Kimball's book. You wont get a better reference than that.
