Oracle Backup

P: n/a
I have Oracle 8.1.7 for NT with one database that has many schemas,
one for each project under development.
I need some way to backup each one of those schemas, some of them
should be copied weekly, others need a dayly copy and so on.
Is there any way of doing that besides using export? If there is a
way, please, explain how is it done and how can it be recovered.

Thanks.

What's wrong with using export.
Export is designed to do exactly what you seem to want to do.

You can use RMAN, export/import, physical copy and online/offline and
WinNT scheduler to schedule.
