Does OCCI support Unicode?

Hi Forum,

Does OCCI support Unicode strings? According to the document, it
supports STS strings; but there's no mentioning of wstrings or
character conversion functions. Does anyone know how I can get, say,
createStatement() to take in a Unicode string?

Thanks in advance.
