can anyone look into this query....
when i connected to the oracle ,i am getting this error
" TNS protocal adapter error " ,could u please tell me how to go to SQL prompt

goto run->sqlplusw username/pwd@servicename
go for it
if error retuned then check the service name u've typed is correct as mentioned in tnsnames.ora
if it is correct then check the service is running or not
if its running then check whether u've installed primary database or not
