Ora Error 12560

Hi..I'm the new one this forum...I have problem with oracle 10g.2. when i'm running my application from client sometime error tns 12560, i try to check my connection from client to server with ping and tnsping,but there is no problem with the connection...i hope i get the resolve my problem from someone this forum. thx

this is sort of an "Oracle generic error" often times it means that oracle doesnt know what instance to connect to. in your connection string for the place where it crashes is the instance name correct?
