Changing multiple sequence values using SQL Query

I am using oracle 10g database...i have two oracle instances(SID)...I want to migrate data from one instance to the other...There is one problem while importing a particular table....say Table 'ABC'

The primary key of that table ABC is a sequence number...my current database table ABC has records up to values 8000 ...The same table ABC in the other instance has records up to 6000...the first 4000 values are same in both the tables ...so i need to migrate only 4001-6000 from the other instance...but 4001 to 6000 already exists in the first table and it cannot be replaced(since that data is needed)...

so my logic is to change the primary key sequence value of the second table from block 4001-6000 to values 8001-10000 so that it wont cause problems while importing....is there any sql query or other method through which i can do this rather than manually updating it?
