alter table

hi all,

Using the ALTER TABLE statement, write SQL statements that will add a NEW COLUMN to your existing table. The new column's name is SIMPLE INTEREST
Note: the formula to compute simple interest is: Principal * Rate * Time

ALTER table tablename add SIMPLE_INTREST number set (principal*rate*time)


I'm not completly sure of this corection r welcome
