Mark Burris

We are using RMAN in a RAC environment using ASM, on release 10G of Oracle, and need to recover an old control file to match the restored logs and database files.

Can anyone tell me how to accomplish this? Also where do I get the dbid which is probably the database id? It looks like I many need that to set the target database.

Any help would be appreciated.
