Enterprise OpenSource Project using Java Stored Procedures of Oracle

Hi all,

I am in search of any Enterprise level Opensource Project that uses
Java Stored Procedures supported by Oracle. I could not find any by
googling. Can any one plese point me to any such projects?

Actually i'm intereseted in knowing to what extent java stored
procedures are used in enterprise applications. A opensource project
will let me look into the code to get better idea.

Please help,

Thanks,
Suresh

People only use Java stored procedures in Oracle if the stored procedure
needs to do something pl/sql cannot do or it is very clumsy to do. There
isn't any reason to use Java stored procedures if you can reasonably do it
in pl/sql. Why? Because it is harder to do in Java things that are easy to
do in pl/sql, so only a language bigot would do such a thing.

Perhaps you database guru able to suggest what would be a good choice for opensource database platform to use to develop projects. At the moment the project is small/medium, but it will grow in size both data, users, and number of transactions. I'm using MySQL for right now but it lack of trigger, stored procedures, etc ... it sometimes slows the project. Is PostgreSQL any better/worse? Or is that any other choice beside the two?...

We are writing a web based application which primarily will serve information to run an ivr. Based on our current IVR getting 1000000 hits a week, this is going to be heavy duty. We have very little time, we have data retrieval classes and a struts based MVC. I'm contemplating a CallManager to hold call variables critical for tracking and writing. Since there are sever small tables it reads from, I am loading those into memory with a...

But I want to know if these are stored as references to external files in Oracle database or directly inside the database. In case if it is directly stored inside the database is there any way to extract it?. If I can extract these java files, can these be used in non Oracle applications? Please help,

I want to know the differences between SQL Server 2000 stored procedures and oracle stored procedures? Do they have different syntax? The concept should be the same that the stored procedures execute in the database server with better performance? Please advise good references for Oracle stored procedures also. thanks!!

hi all, Recently I wrote some stored procedures using java jdbc code (admittedly my first stab) and then tried to implement the same within java packages (for code reuse). I encountered problems doing this. I wanted to implemented a generic "Helper" class like this: /** * Helper

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
