I have a Cisco RV180 router. I am hosting two devices - one needs a lot of bandwidth and the other needs a small amount. I want to set up the QOS settings to make sure the high-bandwidth device gets the bulk of the available bandwidth.
The router lets me set "percentages" for profiles. I can adjust the percentages but the defaults are 61 for high, 31 for medium and 10 for low.
Here's a screen-shot of my QOS Settings on the RV180

My question is: if I bind an IP for the high-demand device to a high priority profile, is that the minimum it will get - even if the other devices are not being accessed, or will that device only get the percentage specified in the QOS profile to which its IP is bound?
