running subdomains on different server

hello

I have a website which i'm running on a server, now i wanna buy another server to host some of the subdomains of the domain which i'm running on the first server, please tell me if it is possible and what needs to be done from side in order to do it.

What's your setup? You're hosting a site in your own equipment - what are you using, LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), or some Windows base?

found the thread I was thinking of - check this thread out for apache (hence my prompting for what software you were using to host)

In short you should be able to host subdomains on the the same server, depending on what your setup is, and possibly on where you registered your site
