Creative Final Year Project

Hey Friends,
I just finished my 3rd year in Computer Science .
And i got selected in CALSOFT for final year project and
i am asked to come up with some good creative ideas for the project...
I'm interested in working in Linux and topics like Data Compression,
Network security and Cryptography...... But it should be some innovative idea
So if you guys have any idea???

Thanx for replying first of all....and I'm just interested in working on some creative stuff....... Other topics( project suggestions ) are also welcome....... I'm good in c,c++,data structures ,java,shell scripting and like the subjects os,cn,ds, etc..... even if it comes to learning some new stuff for project, no problem !!!!
