Reverse IP Lookup

Hi all,

I am trying to know more about Reverse ip lookup. The results vary from tool to tool.. I wanted to know what exactly happens behind the scenes when we do the reverese lookup.. and why some tools are able to find details about a specific IP.. but others just result in "cannot resolve"..

Many thanks,
Abhi

If you're looking at what specifically happens, you're going to have to look into the source of whatever tool you're looking into - as you said, when each returns a different result they're doing different things.
