linksys access point

I am new at all this. I have alynksys wireless-g access point. Is it possible to go wireless with just this or do i need more equipment

You need to make sure whatever computer you are connecting to has wireless accessibility as well. This is commonly integrated nowdays, but I have a PCMCIA wireless card in a drawer somewhere just in case.
