Setting up a home network

10
Can you show me using a diagram how I can set up a home network spaced within a radius of say 30 feet that can be configured for file sharing and internet access. What secuirity measures can I consider?

Have you googled "setting up a home network"? There is a plethora of articles available on the topic. Also, while you are at it, be sure to Google "home network security" as well.

Plus, those are pretty specific requirements (ie: 30 ft, what its used for). Is this school work? If so, it is against site policy for you to post your homework here in hopes of getting the answers.

Regards,

Jeff

Hi Chetah,

What kind of networking infrastructure are we talking about here? Wired, Wireless? Please be more specific my friend. Take care.
