PIng but no internet

11
I have a problem with 2 computers on my network. This happened when we move them to a different location inside the building

when i change the config. of the network cables computer a and b does not connect to the network drive or the internet. But I can still ping in/outside the network.

if I leave the cables as they are then computer b is the only one that can not connect to the network drive or internet.

I have tried, ipconfig /release/renew, checked the firewalls, installed and used different browsers, they do not have the same ip address,

is there anything else i can do?

Do you have wireless connection in your network?

Yes I have a couple wireless routers connected to the network.

I messed around with it and got it to work yesterday. I manually set the IP address and DNS server for both computers and that did the trick.

I'm guessing that it had they had same IP address somehow???
