File deleted on network

Dear All

Please give me the solution of this

my computer on network and some folders are shared some person is deleted my file so can i know who is the deleted my files

If your m/c windows based, i think you can you event viewer, but i never tried...

Hey,
If this is a microsoft-based network, the deleted file may be in the Recycle Bin on the file server. The file server has (3) main Event Logs, System, Application, and Security. (sometimes more) An admin on the server can check these logs - correlate the deleted file date/time with login time in Security (if extended logging attributes are enabled) You need to suggest to your Sys Admin a product, perhaps Sharepoint Portal Server for the MS world.
