Windows network wizard broke internet connection.

464 Expert 256MB
I was connected remotely into one of my pc's and i ran the windows network wizard to allow me to share files on my home network. As soon as i finished the wizard my remote connection broke. I went to the PC and my network was out. i ran command and only my onbaord ethernet items showed up. I went into network connections and only my onbaord devices were there. In the task bar the nvidia network monitor (or whatever it is). Shows wireless card as active and it says that im connected to my home network and has all the information about the network but i am unable to see any devices on the network or connect to the internet. I tried reinstalling my wireless card but that didn't help. Any Ideas on what might have caused this (could this have something to do with the face that i was remotely connected in in the first place?). Any ideas on how to restore my wireless functionality?

What precisely do you mean by "unable to see any devices" where did you look? Did you try pinging there ip addresses directly?

What i meant by "Unable to see any devices" i was unable to see any other computer that was connected to the network. I tried pinging my router and it failed.

I just tried uninstalling my network controller and reinstalling it and now my wireless card is back and working, but thanks for your reply Banfa.
