A System Error, Duplicate name exists in network

Hai

whenever i connect the coaxial cable(phone wire) in my pc for my internet Connection it shows a warning A system Error, Duplicate name exists on the network, due to this network problems,
sometime ASP.NET browser is saying network problem and not working

if any body has any solution Reply me.......

I have found that this error occurs for me when your computers Machine name that you are trying to log onto the network with has the same name as a computer that is already on the network.

I think you can hit OK to get past it, and then go in and change your computer name.

You can do this by right clicking on My Computer, choose Properties, click Computer Name tab, and click the Change button at the bottom of that tab, type in your new name, and restart the computer.
