printer sharing b/w vista and xp!

I have a desktop pc running xp home and recently got a laptop with vista. I am using a linksys wireless router. my laptop connects with the network fine but I can't print from my laptop. I tried a linksys wireless print server but it does not support vista. Is there any way I can print from my laptop over this wireless network?

Thank you!

Is the printer a network printer, or is it connected to the desktop?
