Workgroup Access error

I have 3 machines connecte thru a switch. One machine can accass all the machines.
But one machine cant self access or access to other machines.
Error You dont have permissions to access workgroup contact admin
I have formatted the machine but in vain
What is the solution for this?
Net protecter says some malware has affected but unable to clean it.
( Machine has been formatted twice)

Ok, I'm going to rephrase your question, please tell me if I am correct.

You want to figure out why you have a machine that cannot connect to any of the other machines through the network connection.

If you have reformatted it twice, you either have a rootkit that is particularly malicious and just opens your computer up to all different types of spyware, or there is something else going on.

If you are worried about the spyware, check out Ad-Aware or SpyBot (google search those names, and you should find the software). However, before you run those, please right-click on 'My Computer' and go to 'Properties'. From there, select the Hardware tab and click the 'Device Manager' button. In the Network Connections section, please try to update your driver, or make sure that it even shows up (and is not a yellow question mark). Then try pinging the machine from one of your other computers. (open up a command prompt on the defunct computer and type in 'ipconfig'. Take that IP address to a working computer and type "ping *ipaddress*" only input the IP from the defunct computer.

Let us know how that goes.

go to the control panel ( i am assuming you have xp) and right click on your wireless or local network connection to select your network connction's properties, on the general tab click install protocols, and add the ipx/spx netbios compatible protocol. save and close. Also in the advanced menu under the network ID submenu (still in net connections but not in the ) if you want happy internal network, assign the systems you want a peer to peer network with with the same wotrkgroup name. restart the system and BE PATIENT. It seems to take a while to "take" sometimes. There are a couple more things that this could be but this is a common fix for the home nets. let me know if this doesn't work.

PS; If you have removed the partition and reformatted & installed a legal copy i would assume that your adware is gone? You do have administrator rights too, correct?
