Do we have route-map in all machine (personal computer)

Do we have route-map in all machine (personal computer)

In a local network ,if a machine want to communicate with another machine (in local network) it should have information about another machine.
Does each machine have information about the machine located in local network? or else each machine will get required information from gateway each time when it like to communicate.

Well, is your local machine connected to all other machines? Or is it connected to another device that might be connected to the other machines?
