Hi all, I have a Windows 2003 server, which is also a terminal server for application, with sql 2000 installed. My company has developed an application that uses SQL 2000 as its database. The application is a client/server one. In each client computer there's a link to the application on the server. There is no problem with Windows 98, Windows 2000 pro, Windows xp pro clients, but the windows 95 ones cannot log in to the database. The...

Hi. I've deployed a web application on a desktop computer running W2K and IIS. I'm using the desktop as a server. When I try to access the site, either from my development computer or if I log in to a remote machine, the site works fine for me and I'm able to access the aspx pages with no problems. When others try to access the site, it asks them for there login ID, password and domain.

Hey all, Working on revamping our Intranet here and making use of the LDPA, Active Directory, Directory Services, etc. that .Net provides. I am still fairly new on this subject, so the problem I have run into I am not sure how to fix, and really not sure what is causing it. Here's what is going on (test server - Windows 2003 Server): I have a page in a folder (under anonymous authentication in IIS6) that has a link on it that...

(Type your message here) -------------------------------- From: Siddhartha Dey I have hosted an ASP.NET application on Windows 2003 server. The first page is the login page. If a user successfully logs in he gets redirected to another page. Problem: The redirection works fine when accessed from some client machines, but it never gets redirected when accessed from some other machines. I am using cookie in the login page.

I have an application that I am working on with 2 other developers. The applciation uses Remoting for our calls to SQL Server. We have been developing and testing against our development machines (win XP), and remoting is working fine, but yesterday we attempted to install our application on our shared server and we keep getting 401 - Not Authorized errors whenever a remoting call is made. To get the application to the server, we got...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
