ok Goahead! you can choose of your own.u cannot expect people from countries to give the local rate for the devices.

Hi, I have a question about data transfer from V7.2 to V8.1. I am planning on installing V8.1 and then loading data from an existing V7.2 databases. Migrating is not an option and also I have read in this forum that a direct export and import doesn't work very well. 1. Extracting the structure and data separately from V7.2 2. FTP the above files over to the machine running V8.1

Hey, I need to make two programs I wrote to communicate with each other, but what's the best way to implement it? Both programs will be running on the same machine. I don't want to open sockets and transfer the data 'network style' because of security issues. The data transfer is only one way, program A will be sending streams of data to program B, and program B will output the data.

I need my data generating C program on computer #1 to export small amounts of data (one - 40 byte data structure) periodically (once per minute) to a C program on computer #2. I am considering having computer #1 to create two duplicate data files sequentially. (file_1.dat & file_2.dat). Then, Computer #2 tries to open file_2.dat and upon failure it opens file_1.dat.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
