Ok so setup the cisco router to give out dhcp addressing to everybody and set it up so that the dns in the cisco router points to the static ip address of the server, now on the server side open up your connectors and tell them to forward the dns addresses provided by your isp. Once all this is done restart everything, make sure the computers can browse the internet regardless if they are added to the domain or not and then start adding them to the domain. Also whatever your domain name is, I usually put Domainname.loca l when adding the stations. Let me know if you need help with any of this.

Hi all, I am attempting to add user accounts to a domain with a VB.NET program. The program will not be running on the domain controller but instead on a client machine. So far i have been able to do it manually via the AddUsers.exe command with the Windows 2000 resource CD kit. Could anybody give me a start? Thanks, Jesse --- Posted using Wimdows.net NntpNews Component -

We gave created a web application that uses AD for authorization and authentication. The application can be used by domain users as well as the general public. What we currently have is 2 domains - Domain A is the corporate domain and Domain B is the application domain. Domain B trusts Domain A. What we want to do for general public users is to create users in Domain B (the application) and add them to a group in Domain B. For the...

Hi, I have made a dll and it is working fine in the debug build (as expected) but when I run it in the release build it is working strangely. For example, the dll saves the 10 properties on the exit to a .txt file and when it get loaded again these properties are read from the text file and shown on the user interface. Dll can save the values to the text file correctly for both debug and

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
